Al co-founded Master Landscape with June Schnittker, and is currently Co-Owner and President of the company. His specialties include Turfgrass Agronomy and Golf Course Construction. Before meeting June and starting their business together, Al studied at Kansas State University and spent two years as a Toro Commercial Products Sales Representative. In his 20-plus years at Master Landscape, Al's favorite project was the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, Kansas.


When he gets free time, Al likes to hunt and is interested in habitat conservation and preservation. He also enjoys spending time with his English Setter Arlow. Al loves working outdoors and loves the people he works with. He is a great source of information on nearly any horticulture-related topic, and is always willing to share his knowledge with anyone who is interested.
