Our Four-Step Lawn Care Program
The Maintenance Division covers the Manhattan, Wamego, Fort Riley, St. Mary's, and Junction City areas. This includes residential & commercial maintenance in turf and ornamental plant care. We offer mowing, pruning, cleanup, fertilization, weeding & pest management. We are happy to help with Spring & Fall Cleanup, as well as monthly maintenance.
STEP 1
Fertilizer with Crabgrass Preventer
Applied in LATE WINTER / EARLY SPRING
This includes fertilization with a well balanced fertilizer and the best pre-emergent on the market. Also includes a liquid application for fast knockdown & control of broadleaf weeds, such as dandelions.
This means an early GREEN up and a FULL growing season of crabgrass control.
Step 2
Fertilizer with Grub Control
Applied LATE SPRING / EARLY SUMMER
A slow release, well balanced fertilizer with a long lasting grub worm insecticide. It is highly effective at controlling root damaging grubs throughout the summer while slowing feeding your lawn.

Fertilizer with Iron + weed control
Applied in LATE SUMMER / EARLY FALL
This includes an advanced, slow release fertilizer with a high amount of iron for that beautiful, golf course style deep green lawn. This also includes a liquid application of a water-based, low odor, 4-way blend of our fall broadleaf spray which is effective at controlling recurring weeds such as dandelions.
Winterizer
Applied in LATE FALL / EARLY WINTER
Our final step includes a cost effective source of high nitrogen fertilizer, so your turf can hibernate with all the nutrients it needs for improved root growth and an early spring green up.
